
Wrestling releases complete 2024-25 schedule

Season officially begins on Nov. 1
MADISON, Wis. - Head coach Chris Bono, and the Wisconsin wrestling team released its 2024-25 schedule on Tuesday. The schedule includes six home duals and 11 away.Â
The first non-conference dual will be hosted on Nov. 1 against Ohio at UW La Crosse. The Badgers will then travel to East Lansing, Michigan, on Nov. 9 for the Michigan State Open.Â
The first home showing for the Badgers will be against Rider in the Field House on Nov. 24 at 12:00 p.m.Â
Heading to Pennsylvania, the Badgers will face Bucknell on Dec. 7 before visiting Bloomsburg at 10:00 a.m. and Lock Haven at 4:00 p.m. on Dec. 8.
Seeing some mid-winter sunshine, the Badgers will face West Virginia, NDSU, and Campbell in Orlando, Florida on Dec. 21.
Returning to the Midwest to close out 2024, UW will wrestle on Dec. 29-30 at Midlands hosted by Northwestern.Â
Big Ten competition kicks off on Jan. 12Â at home against Iowa. The team will also host Minnesota (Jan. 24), Purdue (Feb. 7), and Michigan State (Feb. 9) throughout the season.
Hitting the road for conference play, Wisconsin will travel to Maryland (Jan. 17), Rutgers (Jan. 19), and Nebraska (Jan. 31) before closing out the conference schedule at Northwestern on Feb. 14.Â
Rounding off the regular season is a home dual against UNI on Feb. 23.
