In doubles action, Wisconsin notched a win at No. 3 with
Michael Minasyan and
Patrik Meszaros winning 6-2. Princeton claimed wins at No. 2 and No. 1 to win the doubles point.Â
Freshman
Edouard Aubert quickly scored a win in straight sets at No. 5 singles. Aubert improved to 2-0 in singles play during dual matches this spring after going 3-0 at the FAU Invite last weekend.
Michael Minasyan (No. 1),
Tomas Zlatohlavek (No. 2),
Patrik Meszaros (No. 4) and
Sachiv Kumar (No. 6) all played in singles matches that went the distance. Kumar improved to 2-0 on the season with a gritty 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 6 singles.
At No. 4, Meszaros trailed 4-2 in the final set and rallied to score a 6-4 victory, claiming the match 6-3, 6-7, 6-4.
After Princeton's match victory, UW still holds a 7-6 edge in the all-time series.Â
