Blomberg Named to Softball America Preseason Top 100

Blomberg earns preseason accolade
MADISON, Wis. – Sophomore Hilary Blomberg of the Wisconsin softball team has been ranked No. 90 of Softball America's Preseason Top 100 players, announced by Softball American Monday.
Blomberg is coming off an exciting freshman campaign where she was named First Team All-Big Ten, a unanimous vote to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team, and was named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Great Lakes All-Region Second Team.
The Wisconsin native broke Badger freshman records for the most doubles (13) as a freshman, and batted .365 on the season. Blomberg slashed a .365/401/.613 stat line a season ago, ranking in the top-10 all-time among Wisconsin freshmen.
The 2025 campaign begins February 7 at the FAU Tournament in Boca Raton, Fla.
