MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's soccer team bested the USC Trojans 1-0 Sunday afternoon at McClimon.
How it Happened
First Half
Although Wisconsin had some good looks they were unable to capitalize in the first half.
Drew Stover and the back line held USC with Stover recording three saves to keep the score locked 0-0 at the break.
Second Half
The Badgers set the tone for the second half, earning a corner kick just five minutes in.
Both defenses continued to hold strong until the 87
th minute, when
 Adee Boer broke through with her fourth goal of the season, assisted by
Jenna Baumann.

Stover tallied four saves to record her eighth shutout of the season, sealing the 1-0 win for Wisconsin.
The Badgers carried an edge in shots (6-5) and corner kicks (5-4).Â
