
Badgers fall at No. 23 Nebraska

Boyd scores 20 points in conference setback
LINCOLN, Neb. – The Wisconsin men's basketball team fell 90-60 to No. 23 Nebraska on Wednesday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Nick Boyd led the Badgers (7-3, 1-1 B1G)Â with 20 points and 4 assists, converting on 7-of-16 shots from the field. It's his sixth game with 20-plus points this season - tied for most in the Big Ten.
Wisconsin led 21-19 midway through the first half on a 3-pointer from Andrew Rohde, but that's when Nebraska began its scoring barrage. The Huskers scored the final 10 points of the first half to take a 16-point lead into intermission. It didn't get much better for the Badgers in the second half as Nebraska shot 54.1 percent from the field, including 11-for-30 from long range.
Nolan Winter had 10 points, including 6 in the second half. He hauled in 6 boards, as well. True freshman Aleksas Bieliauskas had 8 points and 4 rebounds in his third-career start, shooting 3-of-5 from the field. Andrew Rohde added 6 points while continuing his strong playmaking form with 4 assists.Â
