Mason and Brunner earn Big Ten honors

Mason landed on the All-Big Ten Second Team
All-Big Ten offensive selections were announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon. Wisconsin senior tight end Lance Mason secured second team All-Big Ten honors, voted on by the conference's head coaches.
Mason led the Badgers with 398 receiving yards and four touchdowns, racking up 30 total catches in his lone season at Wisconsin. Mason became the first Badger tight end to lead the team in receiving since Jake Ferguson did so in 2020.
Mason broke out with seven catches, 102 yards and a score against Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 6. He went on to catch a pass in every remaining game and scored touchdowns in three Big Ten games. He also helped the Badger running game as an effective blocker on the edge all season.
Mason is the first Badger tight end to earn Big Ten season honors since Jake Ferguson was named first team All-Big ten in 2021 and 2020.

Mason was a dynamic threat for the Badgers' offense in his lone season at Wisconsin. He proved to be an effective blocker for the UW run game and led the Badgers with 398 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
Mason stood out in Wisconsin's win over Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 6 with seven catches for 102 yards and a score. Mason posted multiple catches for 30+ yards in the following three games and made catches each remaining game of the season.
Mason caught three touchdowns in Big Ten play, including a 45-yard score on fourth down in Wisconsin's matchup with No. 2 Indiana on Nov. 15. Mason finished his season with a four-catch performance at Minnesota on Nov. 29.

Brunner earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors after starting all 12 games on the Badger offensive line in 2025. Brunner posted four consecutive games with PFF pass blocking grades above 80.0 during Big Ten play, all against ranked teams (Ohio State, Oregon, Washington, Indiana).
Brunner helped set the tone for the offense in November wins over No. 23 Washington and No. 21 Illinois. The Badgers ran for a season-high 209 yards and three scores in a 27-10 win over Illinois on Nov. 22.
