Wisconsin puts together another complete road performance
WEST POINT, N.Y. - Wisconsin continued its strong start to the season with a 24-12 road victory over Army on Saturday night, extending its undefeated streak with solid performances across the lineup.
Nicolar Rivera opened the dual by setting the tone early, scoring a key takedown in the second period and finishing strong against Charlie Farmer to give the Badgers an early boost.
Joseph Zargo followed with a dominant showing, recording a tech fall to add valuable bonus points to the team total and keep momentum on Wisconsin's side.
Cody Goebel delivered a dramatic comeback at 165, battling back from a third-period deficit to earn a 6-4 decision over Filipowicz and push Wisconsin farther ahead.
Luke Condon added to the Badgers' run with a steady effort against Cooper Haase. After trading takedowns, Condon sealed the win with a last-minute escape to secure the decision and add to the team's score.
In the upper weights, Wyatt Ingham turned in one of Wisconsin's most dominant performances of the night, notching multiple takedowns on his way to a 17-1 tech fall.
Braxton Amos tied a bow on the victory, controlling the pace and earning a 13-0 major decision over Brady Colbert to lock in the win for the Badgers.
