Wisconsin preps for final B1G dual
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin wrestling team (5-10, 1-6 B1G) is traveling to Northwestern (3-6, 1-5 B1G) for the last Big Ten Conference dual of the season Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. CT
Last Time Out:
The Badgers hosted two Big Ten teams last weekend and went 1-1 on the weekend.
They fell to No. 26 Purdue 33-7 on Friday, Feb. 7. Wisconsin won two duals: 133 with No. 14 Zan Fugitt and 157 with Luke Mechler.
The team then earned their first Big Ten Conference win against Michigan State on Sunday, Feb. 9. Wisconsin won eight out of the ten weight classes.
Most notably, Cody Goebel won in SV-1 in 165, and Wyatt Ingham upset the No. 25 wrestler in 197. Ranked wrestlers Nicolar Rivera, Zan Fugitt, and Luke Condon also collected wins in their weight class.

The Wildcats are also coming off of their first Big Ten win, as they defeated Michigan State 27-12 on Feb. 7, just two days prior to Michigan State's trip to Wisconsin.
The team's overall record is similar to the Badgers as they are also .333 on the season with a 3-6 overall record and 1-5 in the Big Ten Conference.
