1. LAST TIME OUT: Wisconsin enjoyed successful stints in a pair of weekend events in Notre Dame and Louisville, as Emma Kelley once again stole the show by rising up to No. 2 and No. 4 in the 600 meters and 800 meters in UW's Indoor Track history, respectively. Leane Willemse placed fourth in the 3000 meters in one of her first individual distance events of 2025. The two meets were summarized with multiple personal bests turned in by the sprinters, middle distance and distance units.
2. SPRINT SPEED: The sprinters continue to display steady improvement, notching multiple top marks at the Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville this past weekend. Kiley Robbins turned in a 7.30-second 60 meter dash in the Bluegrass State en route to a runner-up finish—enjoying her quickest time of the season. Robbins is only 0.08 seconds behind her current school record in the event in her final season as a Badger. Sydney Robinson placed sixth in the 200 meters race in Louisville, posting a personal best time of 24.88 seconds.
3. TOP OF THEIR CLASS: In being just over a month out from the NCAA Championships, the Badgers are set to compete with some of the top athletes across the country. The program is highlighted by two top-10 appearances by Chloe Lindeman and Taylor Kesner in the weight throw. Lindeman currently ranks No. 3 in the country in the event with a throw of 22.76m (74-8 ¼), while Kesner slots in at No. 7 with a heave of 22.37m (73-4 ¾). Each of those marks took place at The Armory in New York City just a couple of weeks ago.
4. GOING FAR: The distance unit found success at the Meyo Invite this past weekend in South Bend, Indiana. After the aforementioned Willemse, Shea Ruhly followed closely behind in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:18.56, a personal best for the Middleton native. Fiona McLoughlin was a standout in the 5000 meters as well—continuing to excel on the track in 2025. The Stony Brook transfer turned in a time of 16:19.47, good for second place amongst a strong pool of competition.
