MADISON, Wis. – The men's Wisconsin swim team took home first place in the first three events of the Badger Invite on Friday afternoon at Soderholm Aquatic Center.
Charlie Jones earned a new personal best in the 500 freestyle, earning an NCAA "B" cut with a time of 4:18.47.
Chris Morris finished first in the 200 IM in 1:44.24, with
Matthew Segal finishing second with a time of 1:50.80 and
Jack Skarda third in 1:52.31.
In the final event of the day,
Taiko Torepe-Ormsby took home first in the 50 free with a time of 19.76.
Andrew Benson was right behind him with a finish of 19.91.
Up next
The Badger Invite will continue on Saturday at 10 am for the morning session. The diving session will begin at 12 p.m. followed by the final afternoon session starting at 4 p.m.
