IOWA CITY, Iowa. – The No. 18 Wisconsin women's tennis team has matched the program's longest win streak of 11, set in 1996 and 2024, after a hard-earned 4-3 victory over No. 32 Iowa.
The Badgers battled for the doubles point, but the Hawkeyes gained the edge with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.
Singles play proved to be a test, with
Maria Sholokhova and
Ekaterina Ivanova forcing third sets. Ultimately, Ivanova delivered the clinching win for Wisconsin.
