MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin men's soccer team secured its second victory of the season in a close match against the Western Michigan Broncos on Friday night. It was ultimately graduate student Bart Muns who gave the Badgers the 1-0 lead in the second half.
How It Happened:
The Broncos brought pressure out of the gate, outshooting the Badgers 6-2 in the first half. Sophomore goalkeeper Matisse Hébert made saves all game to post the Badgers' first shutout of the season.
The game-winning goal came from forward Bart Muns in the 69th minute. Thomas Raimbault sent a pass to Markie Hrvojevic who set Muns up with a golden opportunity in front of the net.

- This game marks the first Wisconsin shutout since October 26, 2024 when it beat Penn State, 2-0.
- Bart Muns scored his team-leading third goal of the season.
