COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Wisconsin women's cross country team kicked off its season at the Mizzou Opener, placing fourth with 100 points.
The Badgers remained in a group steadily throughout the race at Gans Greek Cross Country Course, the site of the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships, all finishing within 1.1 seconds of one another. Senior Kylie Finger led the pack, finishing first for the Badgers and earning her PR with a time of 18:13.9
Graduate student Annelies Quinton competed in her first race with the Badgers after transferring from Harvard, finishing with a time of 18:14.6.
Up Next: UW will host the Badger Classic on Friday, Sept. 19 at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course. The women will run a 6K at 10:30 a.m. while the men will race an 8K at 11:15 a.m.
