Biography
2025 Cross Country: Finished in 28th place at the Mizzou Opener, running the 5K course in 18:15 (Aug. 29).
2025 Indoor Track: Earned seventh place in the 3000 meters at the DePaul Invite, covering the distance in 9:37.03, a personal best (Feb. 8)... Placed sixth in the 3000 meters open at the Meyo Invite with a time of 9:43.40 (Feb. 1)... Finished in fourth in the 800 meters at the Hawkeye Invite, running a 2:17.49. Also competed in the mile, where she turned in a time of 4:55.55, good for 10th place overall (Jan. 18)... Placed fourth in the 1000 meters at the Wisconsin Midwest Invite, turning in a time of 2:54.68 (Jan. 11)... Competed in the 3000 meters at the Chicago State Invite, finishing in second with a time of 9:56.92 (Dec. 6).
2024 Cross Country: Competed unattached in the Open race of the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals, placing 71st with a 6K time of 22:46.0 (Oct. 19)... Finished in 120th at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational, covering the 6K course in 21:41.7 (Oct. 4)... Competed in the "B" race at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, finishing in 35th with a 6K time of 22:18.9 (Sept. 27)... Placed 16th at the Badger Classic, covering the 6K course in 21:47.4 (Sept. 6)
2024 Indoor Track: finished third in the mile crossing in 5:03.03 at the Solomon W. Butler Classic (Feb. 16)... finished ninth in the 3000 meters crossing in 10:11.27 and fifth in the mile with a time of 5:09.10 at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (Jan. 20)... finished eighth in the 3000 meters with a time of 10:14.16 at the Wisconsin Midwest Invitational
2023 Cross Country: Competed unattached and finished 95th overall at the 2023 Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational presented by Under Armour (Oct. 13), covering the 6K course in 23:19.7... competed unattached in the Gold Division race at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational (Sept. 29) finishing 26th overall covering the 6K course in 21:52.1... competed unattached and finished 43rd overall at the Badger Classic (Sept. 9) covering the 5.2K course in 19:30.3
High School: Three-time Most Valuable Runner in both Cross Country & Track… As a senior earned First-team all-conference honors… finished 25th at the Cross Country State meet… came in 12th in the 1600m and was ninth in the 800m at state… Individual Cross Country State Qualifier as a senior… earned all Academic All-State… Junior year earned first-team all-conference… Academic All-State in both Cross Country & Track… finished fifth in the, 4x800m at state… All-state in the 4x800m, 16th place finish in the 1600m and 3200m at state… Cross Country Individual State Qualifier as a junior… sophomore year was a Semi-sectional qualifier… As a freshman was a Sectional Champion… Earned first-team all-conference.
Personal: Parents are Brian and Wanita Stray… has one brother, Lucas… majoring in actuarial science & risk management and insurance business
