MADISON, Wis. - The No. 6 Wisconsin (4-1) volleyball program is back in action on Friday, Sept. 12, as they take on their first road test of the season—traveling south to Atlanta to battle No. 21 Georgia Tech (5-2). The match is set to be televised on ESPN2, and will get started at 6:00 p.m. CT.

The Badgers recently took down in-state foe Milwaukee (0-6) en route to their third straight win—sweeping the Panthers (25-7, 25-15, 25-11) on Tuesday night at the UW Field House.

Outside hitter Grace Egan provided a spark for UW, accumulating a career-high in service aces with five on the evening. Outside hitter Mimi Colyer added 16 kills and middle blocker Carter Booth recorded a season-best eight blocks to help guide the Badgers to victory.

Wisconsin finished with it's highest hitting percentage on the season at .457 (45 - 8 - 81) , while holding Milwaukee to a negative hitting percentage, which finished at -.014 (14 - 15 -73).

This marks the first time the Badgers and Yellow Jackets will duel since their match last season in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament. UW dropped the first set in Madison, but quickly bounced back by taking the next three to punch their ticket to the Sweet 16.

Booth enjoyed a strong showing by racking up 10 kills from the middle, while setter Charlie Fuerbringer tied a career-high in service aces with four.

After Friday's match, Wisconsin will return to the court on Wednesday, Sept. 17 to face-off against Marquette at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. The rivalry match is set to start at 8:00 p.m. CT and will be televised on Big Ten Network.
