MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin men's golf team sits in 12th at +12 after a weather-delayed Day 1 of the Badger Invitational, getting through round one and 5-9 holes in the second-round at TPC Wisconsin on Monday.
Play will resume on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m., running until all players finish their necessary holes.
Senior
Spencer Turtz led the Badges on Day 1, firing a first-round 73 before playing seven holes at -1 in Round 2 to rise six spots into 18th at even-par.
Junior
James Boustead sits in 45th at +3 after scoring in the first-round for the Badgers with a 73. Sophomore
William Harned sits close behind at +4, ending the day on a solid +1 stretch through seven holes, despite the conditions.
Charlie Erlandson and
Jacob Beckman rounded out the UW scoring, sitting a +5 and +8, respectively.
Three Badgers competed individual on Monday, with true freshman
Vijay Kumar making his collegiate debut. He sits in 67th after ripping off a -1 front-nine in the second-round, securing four birdies. Georgia natives

Drew Sacia are both +7, putting together strong second rounds as Sacia sits even through 11 holes, while Grice is at +1.
