Turtz leads Badgers to round out season at Big Ten Championships

UW finishes 16th, overall
NORTH PLAINS, Ore. -- The Wisconsin men's golf team wrapped up their 2026 season at the Big Ten Championships presented by All-State on Sunday, finishing 16th, overall, going +38 at the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Oregon.
Senior Spencer Turtz led the Badgers with a 29th-place finish. He closed his collegiate career by rising six spots on the leaderboard Sunday after shooting a team-best, 71 (+1).
In his final college golf tournament, graduate Jacob Beckman finished 65th, alongside sophomore Jason Shwartz at +12. Beckman had the third-best Par 3 average in the field at 2.93, shooting one-under this week.
Charles Erlandson (T77th) shot two-over to score for the Badgers on Sunday, while William Harned also scored with a +4 after being substituted in for the final round.
Redshirt freshman Drew Sacia scored for UW on Friday, going +6 on the card in his second-career collegiate event.
With the Badgers 2025-26 season coming to a close, fans can continue to follow UW's golfers at local State Ams, U.S. Open Qualifiers and other summer events.
