UNIVERSITY PARK, Penn. — After closing the first-half on a 38-9 run, the Wisconsin men's basketball team blew past Penn State, 98-71 on Thursday at Rec Hall.
Five Badgers scored in double figures, including Braeden Carrington's 17 points in just 16 minutes off the bench. He added five assists and 3 rebounds, while hitting three three-pointers.Â
Nolan Winter notched his ninth double-double of the season - the third most in the Big Ten. The 7-footer posted 13 points and 10 rebounds. Nick Boyd added 11 points, having now scored 10-plus in all 19 games this season.
