Fans encouraged to take safety precautions when traveling to UW venues
MADISON, Wis. – As arctic temperatures descend upon the Midwest, Wisconsin Athletics will still host a variety of events this weekend. Fans are encouraged to take proper safety precautions when traveling to Badger venues, like dressing for the weather and arriving early to avoid lines.
Despite Friday's class cancellation, Wisconsin will be hosting the following events as planned throughout the weekend:
•   Friday, Jan. 23
   o   3:00 pm - Men's Tennis vs. Chicago State (Nielsen Tennis Stadium)
   o   7:00 pm – Men's Hockey vs. Penn State (Kohl Center)
•   Saturday, Jan. 24
   o   1:00 pm – Women's Hockey vs. Bemidji State (LaBahn Arena)
   o   7:30 pm – Men's Hockey vs. Penn State (Kohl Center)
•   Sunday, Jan. 25
   o   11:00 am – Women's Hockey vs. Bemidji State (LaBahn Arena)
   o   3:00 pm – Men's Basketball vs. USC (Kohl Center)
