Personal: Parents are Sarah and Dave Averkamp ... has one sister, Maddie ... plans on majoring in international studies
 
Reason for choosing UW-Madison: Since I was a young kid, I always dreamed of attending "Bucky Badger School" and gaining an education from a highly ranked university. In addition, I'd say that the atmosphere in Madison captivated me the minute I encountered the experience, as well as the natural landscape that surrounds the campus.
