SENIOR (2023): Named to the Academic All-Big Ten team ... Appeared and started all 23 games for the Badgers ... Finished the season with 1 goal and 2 assists ... Scored game winner against Marquette (9/10) ... Provided first assist of the season against Northwestern (10/5) in 2-1 win ... Had 1 assist against Nebraska (11/2) in the Big Ten Tournament Semifinals.
SENIOR (2022): Started all 19 matches for the Badgers … Attempted five shots on the year with two of those falling on goal against Illinois (10/20) and Penn St. (10/30) ... Added two assists to her career both coming in the beginning of the season at Baylor (08/21) and against Green Bay (08/28).
JUNIOR (2021): Started in all 22 contests for UW totaling 1,938 minutes ... Scored one goal against UC Irvine in the second round of the NCAA tournament ... Verdugo posted two assists and attempted 16 shots, six of which were on goal ... She was named to the Big Ten’s All-Academic Team in fall 2021.
SOPHOMORE (2020- 2021 SPRING): Started in all 14 games for the Badgers and finished the season with 1295 total minutes played ... She was a member of the Wisconsin back line that held opponents to .71 goals per contest (2
nd in the Big Ten) ... Recorded five shots and played a pivotal role in leading UW to its first Big Ten championship game since 2014 ... Awarded Big Ten Sportsmanship award.Â
FRESHMAN (2019): Appeared in 12 games during her rookie season for a total of 239 minutes ... Had the highest SOG percentage on the team at 1.00, logging two shots ... Played her most amount of minutes against Green Bay (9/8) with 37 minutes.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for one of the top development clubs in the country in the Michigan Hawks, competing in both the ECNL and the USSDA…in the 2016-17 season, led the Michigan Hawks to a Midwest Conference Championship, followed by a U-17 National Championship Title…called up to the U-18 U.S. National Team camp in November of 2017…one of only 24 players to earn a call up, competing with and against some of the best players in the country.
