2023 Season: Played in 13 games, making 10 starts at tight ends … led Badger tight ends with 11 catches for 125 yards … made a 45-yard catch versus Georgia Southern (Sept. 16), the longest of his career … tallied two catches versus Georgia Southern, Rutgers (Oct. 7) and at Minnesota (Nov. 25)

2022 Season: Played in 10 games, making eight starts at tight end … made six catches for 75 yards and a touchdown … scored his first touchdown in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, catching two passes for 28 yards (12/27)

2021 Season: Earned first letter, appearing in 6 games ... played in the first six games before sustaining an injury and missing the rest of the season

2020 Season: Appeared in 6 games ... made his first UW appearance against Illinois on Oct. 23

High School: Four-star recruit by Rivals … three-star recruit by 247 Sports and ESPN … first-team All-Lancaster-Lebanon League as a junior and senior ... second-team all-conference as a sophomore ... team captain as a senior ... made 30 catches for 645 yards and 8 touchdowns as a senior ... had 19 receptions for 376 yards and 3 TDs as a junior ... finished career with 58 catches for 1,129 yards and 12 TDs ... four-year distinguished honor roll student ... coach was Robert Locker

Personal: Parents are Todd and Stacy Rucci ... father played football at Penn State and was a second-round NFL draft pick who went on to play for eight seasons with the New England Patriots ... mother played field hockey at Penn State ... grandfather Thomas Gilburg played football and lacrosse at Syracuse and went on to play four seasons with the Baltimore Colts
