Wisconsin Badgers

The Badgers’ lone senior this season, Brevin Pritzl brings both leadership and scoring ability to the Badgers in 2019-20. The lethal veteran shooter is back as a graduate student at UW-Madison after leading the Big Ten in 3-point field goal percentage during conference play last season (53.5%). The all-time leading scorer in De Pere High School history, Pritzl brings relentless energy and effort on defense while also finding teammates in scoring situations. Pritzl appeared in every game last season, shooting a team-high 41 percent from 3-point range and scoring in double figures four times as one of UW’s featured players off the bench.

2019-20
Appeared in all 31 games while making seven starts... averaged 27.1 minutes per games, the highest mark among UW reserves... averaged 8.0 ppg and 3.7 rpg... had a career-high performance against Marquette (11/17/19) where he tallied his first career double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds in the in-state rivalry victory... jump started the Badgers season at Tennessee (12/28/19) when he knocked down 17 points (4 3FGs), three rebounds and 3 steals off the bench... during Wisconsin’s 8-game win streak to close the season, Pritzl averaged 10.3 ppg, shooting 37.1% 3FG (13-35)... scored 10 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds in UW’s upset victory over the No. 14 Spartans (2/1/20)...tallied 10 or more points in 11 games this season. 

2018-19
Appeared in all 34 games, averaging 19.6 minutes, the highest mark among UW reserves ... averaged 4.8 ppg and 2.4 rpg to go with 17 assists and just 10 turnovers ... shot a team-high 41.0% from 3-point range, going 32-for-78 from long range ... led the Big Ten in 3-point FG percentage during conference play with a mark of 53.5% (23-43) ... also posted the team's highest free throw mark, connecting on 30-of-36 (.833) at the charity stripe ... scored in double figures 4 times ... matched his season high with 17 points against Penn State (3/2), going 4-for-4 from 3-point range ... grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds (4 offensive) against Illinois (2/18) ... scored 12 points in a win at Iowa (11/30)

2017-18
Pritzl played in 32 games, including 21 starts, averaging 8.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game...scored a career-high 20 points (6-9 3FG) vs. Minnesota (2/19)...had 11 points at Northwestern (2/22), including a clutch 3-pointer with 29 seconds left to clinch the win...UW's second-leading scorer with 15 points (3-3 3FG) and 6 rebounds off the bench at Illinois (2/8)...scored a then-Big Ten high 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds vs. Illinois (1/19)...returned from injury and scored a team-high 13 points at Rutgers (1/5), as well as 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals...against UMass Lowell (12/30), scored a career-high 18 points (4-6 3FG), plus had a team-high 7 rebounds...led UW in scoring for the first time in his career vs. Western Kentucky (12/13). matching a then-career-high with 17 points (4-5 3FG)...against #15 Xavier (11/16), Pritzl finished as the second-leading scorer for UW with 13 points and a game-high 3 triples...scored a then-career-high 17 points (3-6 3FG) vs. South Carolina St. (11/10)

2016-17
Played in 24 games, including two in the Big Ten tournament and two in the NCAA tournament ... averaged 1.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, 34.2% FG shooting  and 23.8% 3FG shooting per game ... had a breakout performance vs. #23 Maryland (2/19), recording career highs in minutes (23), points (7), rebounds (7), assists (1), field goals (2), free throw attempts (5) ... played a career-high 23 minutes at Nebraska (2/9), finishing with 4 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal ... scored the first points of his career (2) vs. Central Arkansas (11/11) and added 3 rebounds in 4 minutes

2015-16
Medical redshirt season ... played just four minutes in one game during injury-plagued freshman season ... suffered a broken left foot in August of 2015 and re-injured it on Dec.1 ... made UW debut with four minutes played off the bench at Sienna (11/15)

High School
Scored 1,720 career points, finishing as the all-time leading scorer in De Pere High School history and the second-leading scorer in Green Bay metro area history ... helped lead the Redbirds to 84 wins and four conference championships ... averaged 25.5 points and 6 rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent from the field as a senior ... named all-state by both The Associated Press and the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association while being named the Fox River Classic Conference MVP and Press-Gazette boys basketball player of the year ... averaged 20.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game as a junior at De Pere High School en route to first-team all-state honors from the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association ... entered his senior season ranked as the 48th-best player in the country by Scout.com and No. 78 by Rivals.com

Brevin's father, Brian, played college basketball at St. Norbert and Brevin's older brother, Brandon, played college basketball at Hillsdale College ...
