Biography

The Badgers’ lone senior this season, Brevin Pritzl brings both leadership and scoring ability to the Badgers in 2019-20. The lethal veteran shooter is back as a graduate student at UW-Madison after leading the Big Ten in 3-point field goal percentage during conference play last season (53.5%). The all-time leading scorer in De Pere High School history, Pritzl brings relentless energy and effort on defense while also finding teammates in scoring situations. Pritzl appeared in every game last season, shooting a team-high 41 percent from 3-point range and scoring in double figures four times as one of UW’s featured players off the bench.

Appeared in all 34 games, averaging 19.6 minutes, the highest mark among UW reserves ... averaged 4.8 ppg and 2.4 rpg to go with 17 assists and just 10 turnovers ... shot a team-high 41.0% from 3-point range, going 32-for-78 from long range ... led the Big Ten in 3-point FG percentage during conference play with a mark of 53.5% (23-43) ... also posted the team's highest free throw mark, connecting on 30-of-36 (.833) at the charity stripe ... scored in double figures 4 times ... matched his season high with 17 points against Penn State (3/2), going 4-for-4 from 3-point range ... grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds (4 offensive) against Illinois (2/18) ... scored 12 points in a win at Iowa (11/30)

2017-18
