2017 Outdoor: Ran the 100 and 200 meters at the NCAA West Preliminary (5/25-27) placing 24th in the 100 and 35th in the 200 ... finished ninth in the 100 meters at the Big Ten Championships (5/12-14) clocking in at 10.48 ... won the 100 meters (10.34) and took fourth in the 200 meters (20.91) at the Jim Click Shootout (4/8) while also helping the team place fifth in the 4x100 meter relay ... won the 100 and 200 meters at the UC-Riverside Classic (3/25), running 10.60 in the 100 meters and 21.21 in the 200 meters ... crossed the line first in both the 100 and 200 open races at the Aztec Invite (3/24) with a time of 10.55 in the 100 meters and 21.44 in the 200 meters
2017 Indoor: Placed third in the 60 meters at the Big Ten Championships (2/24-25) with a time of 6.70 after tying a personal best with a run of 6.69 in the trials, while also taking seventh in the 200 with a time of 21.45 ... won the 60 meter dash at the Shell Shocker (2/17) with a run of 6.81 ... finished sixth in the 60 meters at the Iowa State Classic (2/10) with a time of 6.80 while also taking 11th during the 200 meters in 21.78 ... took seventh in the 60 meters at The Armory Invitational (2/3-4) and helped the Badgers place fourth in the 4x400 meter relay ... won the Elite 60 meters with a time of 6.75 at the Black and Gold Premier (1/27-28) and finished second in the Elite 200 meters in 21.63 ... won both the 60 meters (6.72) and the 200 meters (21.77) at The Dual (1/21) while also helping UW take second in the 4x400 meter relay ... won the 60 meters in a time of 6.89 and earned a victory in the 300 meters (34.50) at the Badger Icebreaker (1/14)
2016 Season
Outdoor 2016: Place 23rd in the 100 meters in 10.50 and 31st in the 200 meters in 21.25 at the NCAA West Regional (5/27-28) ... At the Big Ten Championships (5/13-15), took fifth place in the finals of the 200 meters in 21.38. Also took seventh in the 200-meter preliminaries with a PR time of 20.89 and placed 17th in the 100 meters in 10.57 ... Ran in the 4x200 meter relay race and finished third in 1:25.49 at the Drake Relays (4/27-30)... recorded two personal bests with a seventh place finish in the 100 meters with a time of 10.31 (wa) while also tying for a seventh place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 21.02m at the John McDonnell Invitatonal (4/23). Also competed in the 4x100 meter relays, finishing 4th with a time of 41.35... ran to a fifth place finish in the 100 meters in 10.57 and captured third place in the 200 meters in 21.13 at the Aztec Invitational (3/24-26)
Indoor 2016: Ran to an eighth place finish (6.81) in the prelims of the 60 meters and would later cap the 60 meter finals off with a sixth place finish (6.78). Also participated in the 200 meters where he would finish third with a career best time of 21.08 in the prelims and end up fifth in the finals with a time of 21.23 at the Big Ten Championships (2/27) ... continued his winning streak with final wins (foreshadowed by a preliminary 60 meter win in 6.73) in both the 60 and 200 meters, finishing with times of 6.69 and 21.33, respectively, at the
Iowa State Classic (2/13)...won the prelims of the 60 meters with a time of 6.82 and advanced to the semifinals where he would finish ninth -- missing the final cut by one -- with a time of 6.79. Also ran in the 200 meters where he would win the prelims in 21.59 and advanced to the finals where he would finish fifth and PR with a time of 21.47 at the Armory Invitational (2/6)... claimed first place finishes in both the 60 meters with a time of 6.73 and also the 200 meters in 21.66 at the Wisconsin vs. Minnesota Dual (1/23)... lunged to a first place finish in the 60 meters with a time of 6.79 at the Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame Dual (1/16)
Personal
A transfer from Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Larry became the school's first-ever NJCAA Track and Field All American after his fifth-place performance in the 60 meter dash in 2014 with a time of 6.81 seconds. Larry, who has two years of eligibility remaining, was fifth in the 100 meters in 10.67 at the 2015 National Junior College Championships and ninth in the 200 meters in 20.90.
