2018-19 Singles: Posted a 22-10 overall record, including 15-5 in dual play and 8-2 in conference play, tied for the second most wins in conference on the team...played seven matches in the No. 5 slot, going 5-2, and 13 in the No. 6 slot, going 10-3...ended the season on a four-match win streak.
2018-19 Doubles: Put up a 9-9 doubles record, including 6-3 in dual play and 2-2 in conference play...went 3-7 with Ava Markham, going 2-2 in conference play and competing in the No. 3 slot...went 6-2 with Melissa Pick, including a perfect 4-0 in dual play.
2017-18 Singles: Saw a lot of action in her first season with Wisconsin, finishing 11-22 overall, including 6-14 in dual play and 2-7 during the conference season … played most of her matches in the No. 3 slot, going 3-11, while also logging a 3-3 mark in the No. 2 position.

2017-18 Doubles: Tallied a 13-16 overall record, including 7-11 in dual play … competed in the No. 1 slot with Sara Castellano, going 6-7 overall and 1-3 during the spring season.
A five-star recruit, MaryAnn Rompf comes to Wisconsin as the ninth-ranked player in the state of Florida and No. 31 nationally. Originally from Rhode Island, Rompf now resides in Bradenton, Florida. A senior at St. Stephens High School, Rompf has put together a record of 30-23 on the national circuit.
Personal: Parents are Bill and Mary Rompf ... Maryann and her mother, Mary – who was an All-American at USC – won both the 2013 and 2015 USTA National Mother-Daughter Grass Court Championships.

"Throughout her junior career, MaryAnn has consistently improved due to her exceptional work ethic," McKenna said. "We are really looking forward to having her in a team environment and watching her develop as a student, teammate, leader and athlete."
