2018-19:  Sat two seat in the second varsity eight and placed second behind No. 7 Princeton while defeating No. 14 Rutgers and Columbia at the Princeton Regatta (April 27) ... raced in two seat of the second varsity eight at the Big Ten Double Dual, topping both No. 13 Iowa and No. 20 Indiana (April 13) ... sat three seat in the varsity four at the Pac-12 Invite (March 30-31)

2017-18: Sat bow with the novice eight and placed fifth at the Big Ten championships (May 13) ... rowed with the novice eight and placed second at Devil's Lake (April 29) ... rowed with the second novice eight and placed first at Devil's Lake (April 29) ... took fifth placed with the novice eight at the Clemson Invitational (April 14)

High School: Competed in four years of soccer and tennis, earning three letters … was the West Suburban All-Conference Academic Achievement Award recipient … also ran track for three years
 
Personal: Parents are Chuck and Traci Melcher, both retired Navy captains … has three siblings, Grace, Jack and Andrew … father rowed for the United States Naval Academy, a two-time Head of the Charles and IRA champion … mother rowed for UMass and sister Grace rows for MIT … majoring in computer sciences
 
Reason for choosing UW-Madison: I have never heard an alum say anything negative about Wisconsin and everyone who goes here has overflowing amounts of school spirit. Everyone here is so connected by the fact that we go to an amazing school
