2018-19: Sat three seat in the novice eight and seven seat in the second novice eight at the Big Ten Double Dual against (April 13)

High School: Competed in track and field for four years earning four varsity letters … two-time sectional qualifier in 800m … most dedicated award ... All-Conference Scholar Athlete for four years … also competed in cross country for two years with two varsity letters … two-time All-Conference team … state qualifier two years … team state champions one year
 
Personal: Parents are Ilka and Steve Hoffins … has one brother, Evan … intends to major in legal studies and psychology on a pre-med track
 
Reason for choosing UW-Madison:  Madison has a perfect blend of high academics, excellent athletics and a strong family legacy. My grandparents came from Europe to work for the university, my parents are alumni, and my brother currently studies here.
 
What Wisconsin rowing means to you: Wisconsin rowing means being surrounded by other strong women who approach challenges with perseverance. It means learning to push myself beyond my limits for my team and has given me the opportunities to form relationships with other incredible women who come to practice every day with equal determination to succeed, support one another, and share my love for the sport.
