"Pat Richter's association with Big Ten athletics has spanned more than four decades, first as a Hall of Fame football player for the Badgers, and continuing through his 13-year term as Director of Athletics. His experiences as a student-athlete, and his contributions as an administrator, helped lay the foundation for many of the quality programs that benefited not only the University of Wisconsin, but all Big Ten institutions as well. We wish Pat and his wife Renee many years of health and happiness."
