Brent Zdebski is in his third season with the Wisconsin football program in 2020, serving as a graduate assistant with the Badgers' defense.

Zdebski came to Madison after spending one season in a quality control role at Central Michigan, where he worked with a Chippewas defense that ranked third nationally in takeaways in 2017.

He held a similar role at Eastern Michigan for the 2016 season, helping the Eagles record their first winning season since 1995 and reach their first bowl game in 29 years.

Zdebski spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons as an offensive student assistant at UMass, where he supported members of the coaching staff who worked with the team's quarterbacks and wide receivers.

His coaching career began as a defensive student assistant on current UW head coach Paul Chryst's staff at Pittsburgh from the spring of 2013 through the summer of 2014.

A native of Walled Lake, Michigan, Zdebski was a two-time all-state linebacker at Walled Lake Western who went on to play at Kalamazoo College in 2012. He graduated from UMass with a degree in communication in 2016.
