Rottinghaus joined the Badgers’ staff in 2022 as a recruiting assistant after graduating from Boston University in the spring of 2022.
Rottinghaus played field hockey at Boston University from 2018 to 2021 and was part of a Patriot League championship in 2018. She worked as a special events assistant at in the Boston athletic department during her time on campus and she spent the summer of 2021 as a football operations intern at Bowling Green.
Rottinghaus spent the 2022 summer as a championships operations intern with the NCAA, assisting in planning the NCAA championships for the 2022-23 seasons.
She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. with a tradition of football success in her family. Her dad and uncles played Division I football and her grandfather, John Nemec, is in the Ohio high school football hall of fame as a coach. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2022.
