Awards and Honors: 2021 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar

2021-22: Made collegiate debut at the Badger Invitational ... recorded career-low 18-hole score of 77, 36-hole score of 156 and 54-hole score of 233 at the Badger Invitational ... best career-finish was T72 at the Badger Invitational.

2020-21: Did not compete ... Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.

2019-20: Did not compete.

2018-19: Did not compete.

Prep: As a sophomore, he won the New Trier Invitational and led his squad to the team title … finished as the runner-up at the 2016 Illinois State Junior Amateur in a sudden death playoff.

Coach on Savarie: "Chip comes from a very competitive program at Loyola and the north shore of Chicago where there is a lot of depth in junior golf. He battled some injuries this past year that hampered him but he is very excited to be healthy again and he had a solid fall playing for Loyola. Chip has had a lot of success regionally and we are excited that he will be a Badger as he also had numerous offers from teams in our league and the region."
