2017-18 (Junior): Rowed a majority of the season with the second varsity eight... rowed with the varsity eight in the 2018 IRA National Championships, helping the Badgers to a sixth-place finish in the petite final with a time of six minutes, 42 seconds... Sat stroke in the second eight against Syracuse... rowed in the third seat at the Stanford Invitational, helping the second varsity eight to first-place finishes over both the Cardinal and Oregon State... sat fifth seat in the Devil's Lake races against BU/MIT and Northeastern... rowed in the fifth seat during the 2018 Eastern Sprints to help the Badgers to a second-place finish in the petite finals... named to the Big Ten All-Academic Team

2016-2017 (Sophomore): Rowed with the third varsity eight, placing first at the Stanford Invite in April with a time of 5 minutes, 50.2 seconds … helped the third varsity eight to a fifth place finish at the Eastern Sprints in May, sitting five seat … raced to a second-place finish with the third varsity eight at the Cochrane/Jablonic Cup (vs. Boston University/MIT) … sat stroke in the third varsity eight that placed second for the Congram Cup (vs. Northeastern) … raced in a four and an eight during the fall, placing 20th with both boats at the Princeton Chase in October

2015-16 (Freshman): Rowed with both the novice eight and the novice four during his first season... placed second with the novice eight (racing as the fifth varsity eight) at the Easter Sprints in May and placed fourth at the IRA National Championships... sat three seat with the novice eight that took first place at Head of the Eagle while taking third place with the novice four... rowed to first place against Minnesota and MSOE with the novice eight and with the novice four... took second place at the Devil's Lake Dual with the freshman eight.

Personal: Parents are Lisa and Fred Adams … one sister named Chelsea, who is a senior on the rowing team at the University of Virginia, and two brothers, Andrew and Colin …. major is chemistry.

High School: Graduated from Christian Brothers Academy … three-year letter winner for rowing and was named team captain his senior year … SRAA Nation Champion Men’s Junior 4+ … second place at Royal Canadian Henley Regatta Men’s U19 8 … participated in swim for one year … participated in volleyball for one year.
