2017-18 (Senior): Rowed primarily with the third varsity eight... sat four seat against Syracuse, helping the Badgers to a second-place finish... sat five seat against BU/MIT and Northeastern at Devil's Lake... sat stroke with the fourth varsity eight that finished fourth in the grand final of the 2018 Eastern Sprints
2016-17 (Junior): Raced to a win and a pair of second-place finishes with the third varsity eight at the Stanford Invite … sat five seat with the third varsity eight that placed second at the Jablonic Cup … placed second with the third varsity eight at the Congram Cup … won the petite final at the Eastern Sprints with the fourth varsity eight
2015-16 (Sophomore):Â Sat in seven seat with the second varsity eight that placed sixth at the Eastern Sprints in May... rowed in bow seat for the varsity eight that finished first in the fourth level final at the IRA National Championships... sat in three seat with the second varsity eight at the Princeton Chase in the fall... also competed with the second varsity eight against Boston and MIT, and against Northeastern... rowed with the varsity eight against Syracuse and at the Devil's Lake Duel... took first at the Stanford Invite with the third varsity eight... competed in the varsity four twice during the season, at the Princeton Chase and the Devil's Lake Dual.
2014-15 (Freshman): Stroked the freshmen eight that raced at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships, Head of Huron, Devil’s Lake Challenge, EARC Sprints and the Stanford Invitational…rowed once for the second freshmen eight that raced at the National Championships in May.
Personal: Parents are Ed and Kathy Hurlbutt … one sister, Danielle … major is kinesiology.
High School: Graduated from Oostburg High School … three-year letterwinner in football … two-year letterwinner in basketball … three-year letterwinner in track … four-year letterwinner in baseball … letterwinner in golf.
