Biography

2016-17 (Senior): Raced to a first-place finish at the Minnesota/MSOE Dual with the second varsity eight … also took first against Minnesota and MSOE with the lightweight varsity four

2015-16 (Junior): Defeated Minnesota and MSOE with the second varsity eight from bow seat, while rowing to second place with the lightweight varsity four... finished fourth at the Devil's Lake Dual with the varsity four.

2014-15 (Sophomore): Competed twice in the fourth varsity eight, where he helped the boat to a victory over MSOE and a fifth place finish at the Devil’s Lake Challenge in May…raced once in the lightweight varsity four where the boat finished sixth at the Princeton Chase.

2013-14 (Freshman): Helped the third freshmen eight acquire a fourth-place finish in the Head of the Iowa in the fall...raced with the lightweight varsity four that took fourth and the freshmen eight that took second in a spring race with Minnesota and Milwaukee School of Engineering.

High School: Competed in cross country for four years...won three all-conference awards, had one top-three finish in conference and went to state senior year for Nordic skiing...also competed in four years of track, running in the 4x400 meter relay...all-conference recognition his senior year.

Personal: Parents are William and Erika...intended major is business.

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: "It is a fun school with great academics."

What Wisconsin Rowing means to you: "An opportunity to keep competing in sports throughout my college career and to push myself, physically and mentally."
