Biography

2016-17 (Grad.): Rowed four seat with the varsity eight that placed first at the Minnesota/MSOE Dual in a time of 6 minutes, 11.6 seconds … also rowed with a four against Minnesota and MSOE, taking first place … part of the fifth varsity eight that rowed at the Eastern Sprints, placing first in its grand final

2015-16 (Senior): Consistently competed with the third varsity eight, placing first in the petite final at the IRA National Championships and sixth at the Eastern Sprints... also raced to wins at Syracuse and the Devil's Lake Dual, while securing second place at both Boston and Northeastern... raced with the third varsity eight at the Princeton Chase during the fall season... sat in four seat in the varsity eight, taking first place at the Stanford Invite.

2014-15 (Junior): Raced once in four seat in the second varsity four where the team defeated MSOE and Minnesota on Lake Mendota.

2013-14 (Sophomore): Competed in the races against Minnesota and Milwaukee School of Engineering with the second varsity eight and the second varsity four boats, both of which placed first...rowed bow seat with the third varsity eight that trailed behind another Wisconsin boat to place second in the Head of the Iowa in October...sat four seat in the third varsity eight in the Eastern Conference Sprints, where the crew finished eighth amongst the other teams in the Eastern Association for Rowing Colleges conference...helped the third varsity eight win the Grand Final in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships in June.

2012-13 (Freshman): Rowed three seat for the fireshmen eight and four seat for the second freshmen four that both defeated Minnesota and Milwaukee School of Engineering...helped the second freshmen eight achieve an impressive first-place finish at the 2013 Eastern Conference Sprints, beating out all other teams in the Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges conference.

High School: Played volleyball for three years...nominated Team Captain and awarded Team MVP in 2012...earned two varsity letters in basketball...earned one varsity letter in track and field.

Personal: Parents are Mike and Sandi...siblings include two brothers, Cal and Matt, and two sisters, Megan and Molly...majoring in accounting and finance.
