Biography

2015-16 (Senior): Stroked the second varsity eight at the IRA National Championships, placing fifth... sat in the first seat for varsity eight that placed sixth in the petite final at the Eastern Sprints... raced to first place for the Cochrane Cup in the first seat of the varsity eight, while placing second for the Jablonic Cup and the Congram Cup... placed first with the second varsity eight at the Stanford Invite... rowed in the sixth seat with the varsity eight that took second at Syracuse... raced with the second varsity eight at the Princeton Chase during the fall season.

2014-15 (Junior): Consistently rowed on the varsity eight boat, sitting in the second, third, fifth and sixth seats throughout various points of the year…best finish in the varsity eight boat was at the Devil’s Lake Challenge, beating MIT to retain the Cochrane Cup as well as defeating Syracuse at the Cayuga Lake Inlet…finished 12th place at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships while rowing on the second varsity eight boat and finished ninth while sitting in the eighth seat at the EARC Sprints.

2013-14 (Sophomore): Rowed with the first varsity eight crew that finished second to California, Stanford, Oregon State and Northeastern in meets during the spring racing season...sat eighth seat in the varsity eight boat that finished runner-up behind Boston University in a match-up against BU and Massachusetts Institute of Technology...finished seventh place against other teams in the Eastern Association for Rowing Colleges conference with the varsity eight crew during the Eastern Sprints...competed with the varsity eight boat that finished eleventh overall in the 2014 Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships in June.

2012-13 (Freshman): Filled the seventh seat for the first novice eight squads that defeated Stanford and took second place behind California at meets during the spring racing season of 2013.

High School: Rowed for four years, earned three varsity letters and was team captain...competed in golf for two years and earned one varsity letter...competed with the 2012 Junior National Rowing team, and took fifth place in the 2012 Junior World Championships in the Men's 8 in Bulgaria.

Personal: Parents are Don and Melinda...Siblings include Katie, Stephanie, Matt and Tim...major is economics.
