Biography

2016-17 (Grad.): Raced with the third varsity eight at the Stanford Invite, earning a victory over Oregon State and two second-place finishes … rowed four seat with the eight that placed second at the Cochrane/Jablonic Cup and second at the Congram Cup in April … placed fifth overall with the third varsity eight at the Eastern Sprints

2015-16 (Senior): Filled five seat for the fourth varsity eight that place first in the petite final at the Eastern Sprints in May, then helped the varsity four to a fifth place finish in the grand final at the IRA National Championships in June... placed first against Minnesota and MSOE with the varsity eight and second with the second varsity four... helped the fourth varsity eight to first place at the Devil's Lake Dual... raced with the second varsity eight at the Princeton Chase in the fall.

2013-14 (Sophomore): Raced in the Head of the Iowa with the third varsity four that came in seventh place during the 2013 fall racing season...helped the second varsity eight triumph over Minnesota and Milwaukee School of Engineering in a spring match-up.

2012-13 (Freshman): Competed in two seat for the first freshmen eight and bow seat for the second freshmen four that both defeated Minnesota and Milwaukee School of Engineering in races during the 2013 spring season.

High School: Earned two varsity letters in football, named team offensive MVP and received All-Conference Honors his senior year...earned one varsity letter in tennis, played 3 doubles for the varsity team his senior year.

Personal: Parents are Gary and Lori...has a brother named Sam...named to the UW Business School Dean's List...intended major is accounting.

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: "I've been a Badger fan all my life, and I wanted a good education and a fun time."

What Wisconsin Rowing means to you: "It offers structure and a competitive outlet that I need. I love the sport and my teammates and I am humbled to be a part of such a long-standing tradition."
