Trask on Remeniuk: "Adrian is a modern-day goalkeeper who can dictate the flow of the game. His background with the Chicago Fire Academy and work with volunteer assistant coach Stan Anderson allows him to play at a level higher than his age would suggest. The battle between the goalkeepers this coming fall will be intense and provide for competition that will make the whole team stronger. Adrian knows he has all the tools to lead us, now the question becomes is he mentally ready for the rigors of Big Ten soccer as a freshman."
Tiemeyer on Remeniuk: "Adrian plays goalkeeper with a real presence. He combines height, length, athleticism and communication ability to create his strong presence. Adrian has received excellent training at the Chicago Fire, but has continually looked outside for additional training opportunities. He has a strong desire to be successful."
Why Wisconsin? "Wisconsin offers the best opportunity for me both athletically and academically. The Big Ten is a challenging conference and will allow me to keep improving as a soccer player. I have followed Coach (John) Trask's teams since I have been in grade school. The tradition he and his coaching staff have created made my decision a no-brainer."
