Billy Breider joined the Wisconsin Strength & Conditioning staff in January of 2013 and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Olympic Strength & Conditioning, working with the Badgers' wrestling and the men's and women's swimming & diving programs, while also serving as the internship coordinator for the Badgers’ Strength and Conditioning program.
Breider completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Strength & Conditioning from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and completed his graduate studies in Applied Sports Science at the University of Minnesota.
Prior to Wisconsin, he completed internships at UW-Oshkosh, Wisconsin and Minnesota, working with all Olympic sports, as well as within multiple private facilities.
Breider strives to be a lifelong learner and has attained many certifications including the NSCA CSCS, PRI Postural Respiration, Hip and Shoulder Blueprint, NASM Integrated Flexibility, Holistic Fitness Practical Yoga, EXOS Tactical Training, FMS Level 1, FMS Screening and Assessing Breathing, Primal Kettlebell, Thibadeau Ballistic Management Hypertrophy and Neurotyping Level 1 & 2, Bioforce Conditioning Coach, Comprehensive Recovery Strategies, Pure Power Integrated Rotation Training, The Ankle: Biomechanical Marvel, Squats: From Essential to Exceptional, The Knee: Top Trends in Training, The Shoulder: New School Training Methods, and taken courses such as Art of Breath, FMS Indian Clubs, Wim Hoff, and Functional Patterns.
