Zordani was a four-time letterwinner for the Badgers during his playing career from 2014 to 2017. In four seasons, Zordani posted a 50-39 singles record and a mark of 49-43 in doubles play. During his senior season, Zordani and current junior Osgar O'Hoisin partnered to go 17-11 on the doubles courts, including a victory in the Badgers' NCAA tournament win over San Diego.

The 2014 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient, Zordani also added 2017 ITA Academic Scholar-Athlete and 2017 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar accolades to his resume. Zordani earned a bachelors degree in business management and human resources in 2017 and is currently pursuing a masters degree in public affairs from the La Follette School of Public Affairs.
Head coach Danny Westerman on Zordani
“We are very excited to have 'JZ' back with our program as a Student Assistant Coach. He was one of the hardest working players we had and came to practice every single day to get better. He is a Badger in every sense of the word and will help be another voice that has a first-hand understanding of what it takes to succeed in our program.”
