Reason for choosing UW-Madison: Good academics/ in state tuition/ big sport school/ great community/ great social setting/ family went to UW-Madison.
What Wisconsin Rowing means to Alexander: It's an experience that many people don't get to experience and something that I am very grateful for. The upperclassmen are very helpful and understanding, especially since I am a novice looking to improve. The coaches are really great, funny, and know how to push us as a team and keep us improving. They are very qualified, and I am really happy to have such great coaches. The captains are true captains and are people that I feel comfortable approaching and talking to. And the determination and grit necessary in this sport is something that I'm excited to experience and be a part of. I'm glad to be able to come be a part of a great team striving for greatness and working hard every day.
