Coxswain Charlie Ramquist
"Across the board today I think there was a lot of good aggression and commitment within the races. Since we've been on the water for the least amount of time this season as compared to the other crew here, some of their strong conditioning on the water has definitely given them some edge over us. Along with the heat kind of draining the guys out a bit more than they're used to, this brought out some errors but we've all been super aware and constructive of those errors. We are not letting mistakes compound us and are really focusing on taking each race individually and as a brand new start."
Ruffin Bryant "We know we have the speed we just need to find a way to collectively execute and not get frantic or take our foot off the gas when mistakes happen. I know that this is a really gritty, driven team so we will find a way to get to where we want to be. That first step must come tomorrow morning."
