Reason for choosing UW-Madison: "There are so many reasons why I chose to come to UW-Madison, from the great college town and the academics to the farmer's market. I feel like everything that the school offers is a reason for coming here.
"One of the reasons is the great academics. For instance, the school has an excellent College of Engineering with numerous opportunities for research. Additionally, the school offers an amazing rowing program which I am so happy and lucky to be a part of. The city also has such a great atmosphere and Saturday football games are the best time to really show some school spirit and feel united with the other 40,000 Badgers that go here. UW-Madison is also my home state's big school. On Wisconsin!"
What Wisconsin rowing means to you: "Wisconsin rowing means fully embracing being a Badger, representing my school and pushing myself to the limits. I feel like rowing gives me the opportunity to push myself to new levels that I did not think were possible. Also, on a day to day basis, the sport allows me to forget about the outside world and all the stresses of school and to focus on just pulling as hard as I can."
