Personal: Savage is a freshman rower from Palatine, Illinois...majoring in Chemical Engineering...Parents are Jim and Susan Savage...Has two siblings Megan and Erin...Competed in swimming and water polo at William Fremd High School.

2019-20:  Rowed 2nd seat in the Lightweight Eight vs. Minnesota on November 2nd 2019.

"Wisconsin Rowing has quickly become a large part of my life and has allowed me to continue my passion for athletics while being in a community filled with driven, positive, student-athletes."

On decision to pursue rowing at UW:
"After 14 years of swimming, I decided to hang up my cap and goggles and commit to rowing lightweight at Wisconsin. This was one of the biggest decisions of my life, but I am beyond glad that I took this chance."
