Why Wisconsin: Attending a Big Ten University has always been a dream of mine. There's nothing better than prestigious academics paired with a lively college town and atmosphere. Being from the Midwest, Wisconsin has always appealed to me due to the reputation of Coach Healy and the culture surrounding the Wisconsin softball program. The intense and competitive nature within the Big Ten conference is where I believe I will thrive. After visiting campus several times, I was drawn to the active, outdoorsy lifestyle and attracted to the energetic and diverse city of Madison.
