Why Wisconsin?
“I chose the University of Wisconsin because it felt like the perfect place for me academically, athletically, and personally. Academically, Wisconsin gives many opportunities to explore my interests and challenge myself while also preparing for my future. As a student athlete, I also wanted to be somewhere that takes athletics seriously and allows me to compete at the highest level while still prioritizing academics. Being from Wisconsin made my decision even more meaningful. Wisconsin has always felt like home to me, and being able to represent my home state as a Badger is something I'm incredibly proud of. The traditions, school spirit, and sense of community at Wisconsin are unlike anywhere else. From running for the Badgers to being part of such a strong university, I knew I and to be part of something bigger than myself. Ultimately, Wisconsin felt like home while also giving me the opportunity to grow, compete, meet new people, and build my future. It was a place where I could challenge myself academically, pursue my goals athletically, and represent the state I have always called home.”
