Honors: WCHA Rookie of the Week (Nov. 25)

2019-20: Despite a playoff schedule that ended early before the Badgers’ 2020 NCAA quarterfinal game against Clarkson, Cece appeared in two games this season helping UW to a WCHA regular season title … played her first game of the season making three saves in 18:51 minutes of action during UW’s 7-0 shutout over Penn State (Oct. 4) … made four saves in 20 minutes of action during UW’s 12-0 win over LIU (Oct. 19)

2018-19: A member of the 2019 National Championship team, Cece appeared in the WCHA playoffs against St. Cloud State on Mar. 2 recording four saves in UW's 8-0 victory.

2017-18: Did not seen game action

2016-17: Started five games between the pipes for the Badgers ... earned first career shutout with a 3-0 win over Cornell (Nov. 25)... was named WCHA Rookie of the Week on Nov. 25, 2017... her four wins were the second-most in the league by a rookie netminder... earned first career victory against then-No. 3 Minnesota Duluth on Nov. 19 ... accumulated a save percentage of .907 with 78 saves on the season

Prep:  Played club hockey with the Oakville Hornets… captured the Provincial Women’s Hockey league title last season… went 20-1-2 in 24 starts, earning seven shutouts… suited up for the 2015 Detroit 2 Nations College Prep series, registering a shutout against the Anaheim Lady Ducks… attended the Hockey Canada Top 44 camp last summer, and won bronze with Ontario Blue at the U-18 National Championships… earned Player of the Game accolades in the team’s game against Atlantic…  attended the 2015 Team Canada Summer Strength and Conditioning camp… also played high school field hockey and soccer… two-time varsity field hockey MVP.

Personal:  Parents are Carlo and Christine Cece… has an older sister, Monique, and two older brothers, Mark and Scott… catches left… role model is Canadian goaltender Shannon Szabados… started playing hockey when she was four... major is undeclared
