OVERVIEW
Nolan Winter started all 37 games as a sophomore, averaging 9.5 points per game and a team-best 5.8 rebounds per game ... the forward led all Big Ten players in 2-point percentage as a sophomore with a 71.5% clip ... is the fourth player in recent history from Lakeville North, joining the likes of teammate Jack Robison and former Badger forwards Tyler Wahl and Nate Reuvers. 

2024-25 (SOPHOMORE)
Broke out in his sophomore season, starting all 37 games … collected the most rebounds on the team, averaging 5.8 per game … led the Big Ten in 2-point percentage, with 71.5% clip … scored 15 points in his first career start, going 6-for-6 from the field against Holy Cross (Nov. 4) … put up a career-high 20 points in Wisconsin’s win over Butler in the Indy Classic (Dec. 14) … became the first Badger since 2002 to secure 17 rebounds in a game, doing so against Michigan State (March 2) … recorded three double-doubles on the season

2023-24 (FRESHMAN)
Played in all 36 games as a true freshman, averaging 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game ... Scored a career-high 7 points, plus 2 rebounds, in a road win at Ohio State (Jan. 10) ... Tallied 6 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 15 minutes playing his first postseason game at the Big Ten Tournament (March 14), Played a season-high 18 minutes at Michigan (Feb. 7), finishing with 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 point ... in his collegiate debut, recorded a team-high 7 rebounds and scored 6 points in a win vs. Arkansas State (Nov. 6).

HIGH SCHOOL
Ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the state of Minnesota in the Class of 2023, according to 247 Sports ... Averaged 23.4 points and 11.6 rebounds per game as a senior, leading the Panthers to a 28-4 record and the Class AAAA state semifinals ... Named the 2022-23 Gatorade State Player of the Year, while also earning player of the year honors from the Associated Press, MaxPreps and East Metro ... During his junior season at Lakeville North, he averaged 17.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, shooting 49.8 percent from the floor ... In the classroom, Winter maintained a 3.9 weighted GPA.

PERSONAL
Parents are Trevor and Heidi Winter ... His father, Trevor, played Big Ten basketball as a 7-foot center on Minnesota's 1997 Final Four team ... His mother, Heidi, played volleyball for the Gophers ... Winter played high school basketball at Lakeville North, the same high school program that former UW teammate, Tyler Wahl (2019-24), played at as well as former forward Nate Reuvers (2017-21) and current teammate Jack Robison (2024-Present)
