2021-22: Did not race
2020-21: Placed third with the second novice eight to third place in the fourth varsity eight/second novice eight race at Big Ten championships ... rowed to wins at the Big Ten Invite in Cincinnati over Alabama, Minnesota, Iowa and Ohio State
High School: Competed in volleyball, swimming and rowing in high school, earning four letters for rowing… a part of the Rouge Rowing Club team… attended the 2017 and 2018 Junior National Team Development Camp for rowing... three-time Oregon state champion... 2020 Female Athlete of the Year
Personal: Parents are Eve and Joel Benton… father is an attorney... has one brother, Jack … intended major is communication arts

Reason for choosing UW-Madison:Â As soon as I stepped foot on campus, I knew that UW-Madison was the perfect fit for me. I loved the community aspect in every part of my initial visit, from the team to the campus as a whole.
