Awards: Academic All-Big Ten (2018)

2017-18: Raced bow with the third varsity four and finished fifth at the Big Ten Championship (May 13) ... sat two seat with the second varsity four at the Frozen/Sunshine Regatta and placed first (March 31) ... placed third with the open varsity four at the frozen vs Sunshine regatta (March 31) ... 2018 Academic All-Big Ten Honoree

2016-17: Won two races against both Michigan and Michigan State at the Big Ten Double Dual with the second novice eight (4/8)

High School: Competed in track for three years and earned two varsity letters … part of the 2015-16 sectional 400-meter and 800-meter relays … participated in club rowing for one year … ran cross country for four years and earned one varsity letter … ran on the 2015-16 sectional team … participated in horseback riding for 10 years

Personal: Parents are Julie and Doug Goetzinger … father, Doug, played one year of football at UW-Stevens Point ... majoring in classical humanities

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: “Wisconsin’s academic excellence was a huge factor in my decision to attend. I fell in love with crew after a year of club rowing and since I enjoy challenging myself I wanted to row with one of the best programs in the nation.”
